The Death Spiral (Motion graphics film)

The Ant Mill – Environmental Motion Graphics Short

An experimental motion design short that uses the biological phenomenon of the "ant death spiral" as an allegory for unchecked industrialisation, deforestation, and relentless human consumption. Trapped in an inescapable pheromone loop, the colony’s fatal momentum mirrors modern systemic self-destruction.

The project explores a hybrid 2D/3D pipeline, blending kinetic typography, stylised 3D assets, and dynamic motion design to translate complex environmental critique into visual rhythm.
